Prices reflect the time needed to conceptualize, design, dye yarn, prepare loom, weave & prepare the tapestry for hanging.
For example, a 60"x 80" tapestry requires 6 -12 months to weave, depending on design and yarns. (...expensive silk yarn increases the cost)
Prices are based on price per square foot as explained below.
Tapestry:
1. woven with 3-ply wool (heavier) -- $300 per square foot;
e.g. 36" X 60" = 3' X 5' = 15 sq. ft. X $300 = $4500
2. woven with 2-ply wool (lighter) -- $350 per square foot;
e.g. 36" X 60" = 3' X 5' = 15 sq, ft. X $350 = $5250
3. woven with 2-ply wool and silk -- $400 per square foot
e.g. 36" X 60" = 3' X 5' = 15 sq. ft. X $400 = $6000.

Considering a commission and pricing?
For reference, the 10"x14" wall sculpture shown in the Gallery sells for $500, including the handsome display box.
Size and complexity determine the price.

Commissions - residential & commercial spaces.

We'll begin with conversations & general questions - size, materials, color scheme, space where it would hang, time frame etc.
Design fee will be determined based on scope of work.
An agreement for commission will be created.
Design fee will be deducted from the total payment.
50% of total, to be paid in advance.
Photos of the entire process will be provided at no additional cost.
Any other costs beyond the studio work will be negotiated.
